Anti-Corruption Department operations in Punjab
The anti-corruption branch
in Punjab is persevering with operations against bribery in one of kind towns.
According to details, the anti-corruption department arrested six accused on
prices of bribery during diverse operations in Punjab. Among the ones arrested
were Patwari, a constructing inspector and a fugitive.
According to media reports,
assets said that anti-corruption employees carried out those operations in
Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur and Khushab. Thousands of rupees
had been recovered from the possession of the arrested accused and instances
have been registered towards them even as in addition investigation has been
started against them. Sources stated that the anti-corruption team raided the
office of Municipal Corporation Bahawalpur and stuck Naib Qasid Muhammad Azam
taking Rs nine,000 bribe.
The accused had taken bribe

even earlier than the plaintiffs. Building Inspector Rana Muhammad Nawaz turned
into arrested from Municipal Corporation Gujranwala. Rana Muhammad Nawaz was

Naib Qasid Shehzad Ali turned into arrested from Union Council No. 12 of
Faisalabad. The accused had acquired a bribe of Rs five,500 in change for
issuing faux marriage certificate.
According to anti-corruption officers, a Patwari named Allahyar become taken into custody from Jalalpur Pirwala. Allahyar Patwari received Rs. 80,000 for registering 2 transfers. Media reports further stated that fugitive accused Shah Nawaz turned into arrested from Case No. 21/2019 from Sargodha at the same time as fugitive accused Lord Nawaz from Case No. 55/2021 changed into arrested.
